Reflection - As I move towards retirement, I would like to apply my artistic side to the design and construction of new furniture and refinishing of antique furniture.

Challenges: lack of formal training in mastery techniques
cost of new equipment and larger space
developing a network of sources for antiques
Action Plan: undertake formal training at NSCAD - Folk Arts Centre
put aside a saving plan for a new workshop
practice on existing home projects
develop search strategies for finding potential pieces
continue to develop designs
