Goal
     --> Develop Community Portfolio

Reflection - I have often thought that the portfolio should be able to be extended to all entities that can learn - learning being defined by a change in capacity, direction, and ability as a result of the acquisition, and development of skills, knowledge and aptitudes. The community and the corporation are, I believe, such entities as much as an individual. I would like to be able to develop the notion of a community portfolio that honors the essential process of portfolio - reflection, introspection, planning, and transformative learning. There are a number of community asset development tools but my sense of portfolio goes beyond that.

resistance from traditional community asset mapping folks

Action Plan: study current community asset tools
research existing/alternative portfolio approaches
propose community profile to a test market
develop a community of interest
develop prototype tools and techniques
test tools and techniques
publish findings
determine feasibility of future development and commercialization
