Role Artist
Reflection - From an early age I was given an appreciation for art and trained to draw and paint while under the care of my grandmother, Marjorie Chafe, who - as a young woman herself - studied under a master painter in England just after the turn of the 20th century (~1908-1910). Her skills were predominantly in the oil medium, but I found a more natural medium in charcoal and pencil.
Over time, I began to experiment in many other forms of art including music, drama, writing, and story-telling. As the technology improved, I learned that were ways to express art in digital form, including electronic art and web design. I am often accused of being a techie - but I do maintain an artistic flair that comes out both in my choices of expression, and in my emotional state.
The artist lives in me while I continue to seek innovative ways to express my view of the world.
