InnovaIT Supports Pan-Canadian Skills Research

When InnovaIT was approached to help its partner Downsview Aerospace Innovation and Research hub (DAIR) to implement a pan-Canadian research project the answer was "you bet we will!". A nearly perfect fit for our capabilities, the project required that we work with DAIR to identify willing participants from the aviation and aerospace industry, develop a strategy to collect critical data, and implement the survey and interviews that will inform the sponsor (Next Generation Manufacturing Canada - NGEN) about the challenges and strategies for developing and capturing skills in the aerospace manufacturing industry. NGen is the industry-led, non-profit organization leading Canada’s Global Innovation Cluster for Advanced Manufacturing. One of five national networks supported by Canada's ambitious Global Innovation Clusters Initiative.
InnovaIT's training design, project and business management expertise were critical to getting this project up and running quickly to meet a very tight timeline at a moderate budget. The sector report was delivered to the client early in the winter of 2023-24 and is pending publication.
