Reflection - I began programming in the late 70's when I purchased my first computers - an Altair kit, and later a Vic 20. Both of these systems required you write the programs that you wanted to run.

Since then, I have achieved a Diploma in Applied Information Technology, and have focused on internet technologies and data-driven applications. More recently, I have developed a number of programs for collaborative learning, eBusiness, and portfolio management.

My recent companies (NorthSeas Software and InnovaIT Web Services) have been IT businesses largely involved in programming and hosting web-based applications.

I continue to write and integrate code in my business and in support of applications I have developed for the community college. Once I complete this ePortfolio project I intend to use it for clients of the consultancy my wife and I operate.
