Organization/Context: IMS Global

Reflection - Following the Merlot Conference in New Orleans, I was asked to join and international work group focused on developing and testing standards and protocols for applications standards for ePortfolio based on the emerging standards from IMS Global. The committee chair was Darren Cambridge of George Mason University, who is also chair for the International Coalition for ePortfolio Research.

My contributions included networking/recruitment, research on standards, and testing for XML and XHTML compliance on test cases. The international group included members from USA, Canada, England, France and Australia.
