Cognitive --> Develop Policy
Activities - To achieve this competency, I:
- As Board Chair, Lake & Shore Community Recreation, and committee chair for Finance and Governance, I worked with the treasurer and Board vice chair to develop the centre's policy and procedures manual. By the time I left the board in December 2012, we had 95% of the policy manual completed and had established a strong set of guidelines for future policy development.
Outcomes - As a result of this learning I can:
- Research, analyse and develop policy given organizational mission, values, and objectives.
